What counts toward your quota?
Each successfully accepted API send counts toward your monthly and daily limits — one recipient per message. Addresses blocked by ZidiGuard (hard bounces and complaints) are skipped and do not consume quota. When you approach your limit, we email your organization owner at 80% and pause sending at 100% on the Free plan; paid plans support overage so production traffic can continue.

Do I need a credit card to start?▼
No. The Free plan includes 3,000 emails per month with no credit card required. Upgrade to Pro or Scale from your dashboard when you need more volume.
What happens if I exceed my monthly limit?▼
Sending pauses on all plans when the monthly limit is reached, and resumes when your quota resets on the 1st of the next month UTC. We email your org owner at 80% usage so you have time to upgrade before hitting the cap. Overage billing is on our roadmap.
Can I change or cancel my plan?▼
Yes. Manage your subscription from the billing page in the dashboard. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel through PayPal at any time.
Is there a sandbox mode?▼
New accounts start in sandbox mode so you can test your integration safely. Request live access from Settings when you are ready to send to real recipients.
What payment methods do you accept?▼
Paid plans are billed monthly through PayPal subscriptions. Invoices and plan changes are handled from your ZidiMail dashboard.
Do you support SMTP relay?▼
SMTP relay is on our roadmap and coming soon. Currently all sending goes through the REST API, which works with any language via a simple HTTP call. In the meantime, libraries like PHPMailer, Nodemailer, and ActionMailer all support REST-based transports.
What email tracking is included?▼
All plans include open tracking and click tracking at no extra cost. Events are visible in the dashboard and can be forwarded to your backend in real time via webhooks (Pro and Scale plans).
Is ZidiMail suitable for marketing or newsletter emails?▼
ZidiMail is purpose-built for transactional email — password resets, receipts, notifications, and similar one-to-one messages triggered by user actions. Broadcast marketing campaigns are not currently supported, but are on the roadmap.
